welcome to kubu art

My name is Meagan Kubu and I teach at Williamston High School in Williamston, Michigan.  Go Hornets!  I graduated with a BA from Adrian College and went on to get my Masters at Marygrove College.  I have enjoyed creating art my entire life.  In college, I specialized in drawing, painting, photography and sculpture.  Later, I learned ceramics.  I am excited to embrace them all and teach them to you!

This image seems about right for the time we are going through right now with face masks and face shields. 

Summer 2019, I took a one-on-one lesson with local metal artist Lee Kronenburg.  He taught me how to weld and how to use a plasma cutter.  Not pictured here are the gloves and earplugs you also have to use for personal protection. 

​It was a lesson I'll never forget.  And this is a time, we will never forget.  But, we are in this together.  Let's make the most of it.
